The Seventh-day Adventist Church (Pacific) Ltd is seeking an experienced and qualified Building Supervisor to plan, organize, direct and co-ordinate the building plans for the relocation of Fulton College to the new land in Sabeto, Fiji. This full time role requires a dedicated leader with the capacity to administer building projects in the context of the Church's policy and local culture. The ability to relate well to people from various cultures and a sound building maintenance skill and knowledge will be essential.

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

Essential:

  • Strong commitment to the Seventh-day Adventist Church and its mission.
  • Have an interest in and aptitude for cross-cultural ministry.
  • Experience in the building industry managing large building projects.
  • Must have a current builders licence.
  • Must be a qualified Clerk of Works.
  • A person having expertise and experience in people management and relationships.
  • The ability to relate well to different cultures.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the Church and its operations throughout the South Pacific.

Desirable:

  • Ability to relate well to people.
  • Good negotiating skills.
