The Seventh-day Adventist Church (SPD) Limited is seeking expressions of interest from suitable candidates to manage and support the Church’s Membership, Tithes & Offering and Maze systems.  Working for the Information Systems department of the South Pacific Division head office, this full-time role involves providing analytical support and training to Conferences, Schools, and other Church stakeholders on the efficient use of the above software.

 

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

Essential Criteria:

• Formal tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years experience as an analyst or software training role. 
• Ability to present technical concepts in a user-friendly manner.
• Commitment to the teachings, values and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
• Proven analytical and problem solving ability.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to build key relationships.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Team player who is fully supportive and team-oriented, yet able to work autonomously.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.

 

Desirable Criteria:

• Good understanding of the Church’s goals and objectives.
• Experience in software development and Microsoft development tools and technologies.
• Highly self motivated and directed.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Flexibility for travel and on-call duties outside of ordinary business hours.
