Seventh-day Adventist Aged Care (NNSW) Ltd is currently seeking to appoint an innovative Site Manager to lead our team of aged care professionals at Avondale Retirement Village a 162 bed aged care service and 229 unit self care village located near lake Macquarie at the base of the Wattagan Mountains.
Reporting to the Managing Director, your priority will be to manage the Village to achieve positive resident outcomes alongside achieving financial, operational and human resource targets.
This role offers you the opportunity to build on your General Management experience in an organisation that is committed to excellence in Aged Care and Independent Living.
1.Demonstrated sound leadership skills
2.Have a sound business/financial understanding particularly in relation to the use and monitoring of financial and non financial performance via Key Performance Indicators
3. Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety
4. Demonstrated high quality interpersonal skills
5. Demonstrated customer service skills
6. Have the ability to interpret legal documents
7. Demonstrated sound/time management skills
8. Sound financial management experience with the ability to understand and work with staff to develop budget strategies to manage variations to budget
9. Formal management qualifications and or experience in a senior management role within a small to medium enterprise
1. Previous experience in Aged Care and Retirement Village living
