Adventist Alpine Village located in the Snowy Mountains just outside Jindabyne, caters for Church and Church Youth Groups, School groups and family retreats. Presentation of the grounds and facility is key to the ongoing success of AAV. Reporting to the Manager, the position will oversee the maintenance of the grounds, equipment and facilities. The ideal applicant will possess a can-do attitude, be flexible, with attention to detail, along with exceptional people and organisation skills. The successful applicant will be qualified in a trade either, building/carpentry, electrical or plumbing and be able to show experience of such trade.
A trade certificate & proven work experience
Understanding and commitment to Work Health & Safety principles
Ability to supervise diverse groups of people, including contractors
Good time management skills
Ability to problem solve and prioritise work
Committed to and support the values ethos and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Current driver's license
Valid Working with Children Check
Chainsaw safe use
First Aid certificate, current
Forklift license, current
Baptised practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
