This role is to provide general reception duties for the Conference Office and administrative assistance to various departments with responsibility for the administration and completion of clerical duties for those departments.This involves providing reception services and giving clerical support to the Departmental Directors and facilitating a productive office through the efficient processing of enquiries, documents, scheduling appointments, clerical work, administrative and business functions in liaison with the Departmental Directors.
*Must be a practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to its mission. This would incorporate an active relationship with Jesus Christ characterised by a deep desire for worship and service to God.
*Appropriate Secretarial/Office Administration qualifications and/or experience, including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook), Lotus Notes, and web-based software, and excellent written and oral skills.
*Excellent Public Relations skills and ability to work as a team member.
*Previous experience in secretarial duties is desirable.
*Ability to work unsupervised.
*Contribute to the running of the Greater Sydney Conference Office.
*Must have a current, valid visa allowing you to work in Australia.
*The position is part time - two and a half days per week.
