Central Coast Adventist School is seeking to employ a Maintenance and Construction Supervisor, who will be responsible for the upkeep of all building environments on the school site. They will be responsible for overseeing various maintenance and construction projects; including classroom refurbishment and renovation. As an integral part of the staff, and with high visibility around the site, they are expected to uphold the ethos of the school and be mindful of child safety policies at all times.

• Perform good quality and compliant corrective and preventative maintenance work of all buildings and fixtures, or ensure the work is done by qualified contractors.
• Perform and supervise small scale building projects and coordinate trades/contractors for said projects.
• Undertake general maintenance and grounds duties as required
• Supporting the smooth operations of the school
• Ensure work health safety regulations are adhered to
• Be available for unforeseen after hours call-out in emergency/crisis situations with respect to building services and maintenance

• Experience in providing support of a skilled nature across various trade areas
• Preferably hold LR/MR Drivers licence
• Hold a trade qualification as relating to maintenance and construction
• Be a self-starter with the ability to assess and prioritise workload, to work unsupervised and to work well in a small team environment.
• Have a good level of physical fitness
• Must enjoy working in an environment with young people.
• Already have, or attain prior to employment, a Working with Children Check clearance.
