Kempsey Adventist School is seeking to appoint a part time OOSH educator. Educators support and collaboratively work within a team to oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of the daily routines and programs ensuring that the safety, security and well-being of the children in our care is protected.

• Energetic, motivated educator who is professional and dedicated to ensuring every interaction with children is positive, sensitive and respectful
• Passion for working with school-age children
• Ability to recognise the needs of children, contribute to the planning of OOSH activities actively supervise children.
• Ability to cope in an emergency or in a stressful situation
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding children and young people
• Good communication skills
• Ability to establishing partnerships with families and the community
• Proficient in oral and written English
• Previous experience working with school-age children
• Hold a current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain.

The suitable applicant will be available 2-4 afternoons per week, between the hours of 2:30pm to 6:00pm.
